Brian Derby Line Camps Return to Northwest

It's Offical.  Offensive Line Coach and guru Brian Derby is returning to the Pacific Northwest in July to coach up the Youth and prep athletes in this area on the fundamentals of being a winning offensive linemen.  The Camps are attended by athletes all over the pacific northwest and beyond and feature coaches from several Colleges and Universities.

In its 6th year in Oregon the "Derby Camp" as it is known is one of the few true linemen camps in the country.  Derby brings with him 25 years of  experience as a player and as a coach.  He is known for his work in Hawaii over the past 12 years  where he hosts a weekend clinic for 200 plus young Hawaiians.  There players must attend each of the 20 week session and develop their techniques from the ground up.

Experts point to up to 50 D1 atheletes who have come through his camps and 7 or 8 that have gone on to make the NFL.

"Brian is the real deal," says former Hawaii and Seattle Seahawk star Doug Hire.  "He is offering his time and experience at a level few ever do.  The kids are getting better and as a result they succeed on the field and in life'

Derby is unpaid for his efforts in the Northwest and comes with Coaches Samson Kela and Michael Beazley from Hawaii to volunteer at the camps. Last year over 200 attended in Beaverton and this year Camp runs form July 27th to 30th in Beaverton and Portland with sessions for Youth and High school.
