Plano Quarterback, Richard Lagow makes the cut

Richard Lagow 6’5” 191 Plano QB took varsity reps in the spring 2009 and started at as a freshman for Plano’s junior varsity team. Scouts have predicted Lagow to step right in behind 2011 Princeton Golden Boy signee Conner Michelson.

Recently Lagow attended the 5 Star Performance Camp in Grand Prairie, TX only to find himself in a shootout against Coppell’s Jake Larson, South Grand Prairie’s Jared Johnson for top quarterback honors.

It was not an easy decision for the 5 Star staff. Lagow eased his way into the final round of competition, but was eclipsed by Larson by the slightest of margins.

Lagow will definitely turn college scouts heads as he enters into his junior season as Plano’s Young Gun at QB! Other notable Plano returners are: #19 Kevin Merrill (5’9”185, RB), #12 Xavier Harbert (6’3” 220, LB), #88 Dwayne Hicks (6’5” 205, DE) and #8 Sam Morrell (5’10” 170, CB)
