Heading into 2011: Owens started at both guard and center for SGP as a sophomore. He's considered one of the top interior line prospects in the country for 2013. He also was a state finalist wrestler as a sophomore and has an impressive youth wrestling background.

Analysis: Owens is not only a road grater type of prospect at tackle, but he is also state qualifying wrestler with impressive flexibility and agility. He has impressive foot quickness and natural strength. His initial contact can be powerful with the feet and strength to finish quite easily on the high school level. A guard all the way at the next level.

Potential Status: Owens will be a nationally recruited prospect in the 2013 class with the ability to be ranked nationally.

Schools in the mix: Oklahoma appears to be the early leader for Owens.
